Forgiveness
Did you ever Forgive your dear ones…Have you ever been Forgiven…Ever come across such a situation??? Yeah...Somewhere…Someday...Sometime…You, Me, everyone would have been forgiven for their simple, Unwitting mistakes…I felt Forgiveness is a miraculous word that binds relationships. Thought to share something about Forgiveness and here it goes…
See what dictionary says about Forgiveness…
“The act of excusing a mistake or offense…”
“The act of freeing from guilt or blame by treating the offender as if the offense had not occurred…”
Do you know…
“To forgive is to set a prisoner free and discover that the prisoner was you...”
“When a deep injury is done us, we never recover until we forgive…”
“Forgiveness does not change the past, but it does enlarge the future…”
A small poem on Forgiveness… (Author Unknown)
If you try to reach inside of your heart
you can find forgiveness, or at least the start
And from that place where you can forgive
is where Hope, and Love, also thrive and live...
And with each step that you try to take
and with that chance that your heart might break
Comes so much happiness, and so much strength
which Alone can carry you a fantastic length...
Every situation has no meaning until you give it one. It can be “good” or it can be “bad” and the only person that gets to decide that is ‘You’. If you decide to choose “good” then it changes your whole focus to one of being positive and this opens your mind to new opportunities. You’ll start using your experiences as stepping stones to achieving what you really want. Otherwise those past experiences will forever hinder you and you will continue to have resistance to certain things in your life. This will make it difficult to get what you want and it can even prevent you from moving towards those desires…
“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong…” A famous quote by Mahatma Gandhi…
If you still have grudge on someone, you are still thinking to take revenge on someone..Forgive them…” Forgiveness is the mightiest sword...” Its true…Isn’t it?
As Wes Cooper says in his book, “The Astonishing Power of Gratitude”, To know whether you have truly forgiven someone, try this test. Can you genuinely
answer "yes" to these two questions?:
• Do you honestly wish them well?
• Are you grateful for them?
If you can’t answer yes to the above questions, then you really need to keep working at it until you can.
So, Let us forgive and welcome Forgiveness in to our lives to have a joyous, Free and Positive life…You know, I thought to write this post in my favorite font, Searched for it. But it was not available…First I scold the BlogSpot...later thought I should be grateful to BlogSpot for being the medium of Communication…
Your Comments and Suggestions are heart fully Welcomed…
